Sustainability Mavericks: A Conversation with Ben Bressler of Natural Habitat Adventures
About this Session
We're kicking off a new series, Sustainability Mavericks, spotlighting the founders and leaders who've spent decades proving that conservation and exploration can build a business, not just a mission statement. First up: Ben Bressler, founder of Natural Habitat Adventures (Nat Hab), the world's first 100% carbon-neutral travel company and WWF's official Conservation Travel Provider since 2003.
Ben started Nat Hab in 1985 with $600 and a passion for wildlife, and grew it into a company that's put a zero-waste safari, an electric solar-powered safari vehicle, and carbon-neutral guest flights on the map. In this one-on-one conversation, we'll get his origin story, ask him to cut through the sustainability marketing noise with what conservation travel actually requires operationally, and dig into what advisors need to know to sell it, and spot it, with confidence. Come ready with questions for a founder who's been doing this since before "sustainable travel" was a category.
