See pioneer life along the trail and Native American culture come to life as we participate in the Annual Trail Days Event in Elko, Nevada. The excellent California Trail Interpretive Center hosts an 1850 Wagon Encampment and Shoshone Summer Camp. We’ll also explore Nevada’s railroad heritage at Ely’s famous Northern Nevada rail yard and museum, including a ride on an authentic steam train. The museum not only preserves 19th century equipment and track, but also the homes of its workers, representing many ethnic groups and lifestyles. Begins and ends in Salt Lake City.
