Join us to learn more about the natural wonders of Churchill during three distinct seasons. Veteran Expedition Leader Annie Van Dinther will share nature and wildlife images and firsthand stories from Churchill— a frontier town of a thousand people on the edge of Hudson Bay. Churchill is best known as the “Polar Bear Capital of the World.” But few know it’s also one of the best places to see the aurora borealis in winter, or that hundreds of amiable beluga whales swim up the Churchill River each summer. Annie will also talk about some of Churchill’s intriguing residents, from dog mushers to indigenous storytellers. And if you can’t join us live, we’ll post the webinars online for you to view any time.
