Join Backroads for an overview of our Family Adventures program. With over 1,000 2020 departure dates designated for families, many folks call us the Family Travel Experts! Our Family Adventures are designed for all ages and the whole spectrum of priorities, interests and attention spans. They are filled with all kinds of fun activities they can enjoy together and sometimes apart—a perfect way for everyone in the family to stay connected while also meeting new friends.

Backroads now has four age categories for family travel, designed for the following age groups:
• Younger Kids (4-12)
• Teens & Kids (9-19)
• Families with Older Teens & 20s (17-23)
• Families with 20s & Beyond (20s-early 30s)
